About the Role
Super Distribution is Mauritius's leading household goods distributor, responsible for distributing trusted brands such as UJALA, MARGO, Maya Incense, Super Bio and more. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Salesman to join our growing team.
You will be the face of Super Distribution on the road, visiting retailers, supermarkets, pharmacies and wholesale outlets across the island to drive sales, build client relationships and grow our market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit existing and potential clients across Mauritius to promote and sell our product range
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with retail and wholesale partners
- Take and process orders accurately and submit daily sales reports
- Provide product demonstrations and communicate brand benefits to clients
- Collect payments and manage accounts in line with company credit policy
- Identify new business opportunities and market expansion areas
- Represent the Super Distribution brand professionally at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 1β2 years of experience in a sales role (FMCG, distribution or retail preferred)
- Valid Mauritian driving licence (Class B)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English, French and/or Creole
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
- Basic numeracy and ability to maintain accurate sales records
- Reliable, punctual and a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of the local market and island-wide geography is an advantage
