About the Role
Super Distribution is Mauritius's leading household goods distributor, delivering trusted brands like UJALA, MARGO, Maya Incense, Super Bio and more to retailers across the island. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver / Helper to join our logistics team.
You will be responsible for ensuring our products reach retail outlets, supermarkets and wholesale partners across Mauritius safely and on time. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the company delivery vehicle safely and responsibly across Mauritius
- Load and unload goods at the warehouse and customer delivery points
- Assist with stock counting, order picking and packing for deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Maintain delivery records, signatures and delivery notes in an organised manner
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, fuelled and in good working condition
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents or delivery discrepancies promptly
- Assist with warehouse operations during non-delivery periods
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of driving or delivery experience
- Valid Mauritian driving licence (Class B or higher mandatory)
- Good knowledge of Mauritian roads and island-wide geography
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying goods
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- Basic literacy to read delivery notes and maintain records
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience with a truck/lorry licence is an advantage
